Overview
Token Monitor is a macOS application. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.
Data We Access
Token Monitor reads the following data locally on your device:
- Claude CLI usage files stored at
~/.claude/projects/ - Claude OAuth credentials stored in your macOS Keychain by the Claude CLI
This data never leaves your device. Token Monitor communicates only with Anthropic's API endpoints (api.anthropic.com) to fetch your quota information.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect any personal information
- We do not store or transmit your app usage data to any third-party servers
- We do not access your Claude conversation content
Website Analytics & Cookies
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors discover and use the site (e.g. page views, download button clicks). Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visitors.
We only load Google Analytics after you explicitly accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
Data collected by Google Analytics is anonymised (IP addresses are not stored) and governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
Automatic Updates
Token Monitor uses Sparkle for automatic updates. Update checks are made to tokenmonitor.app. No personal data is included in these requests.
